Del Lago Resort & Casino has furloughed 50 employees. It had to reduce its hours of operation because of the new state COVID-19 restrictions.
Del Lago has bars that serve alcoholic beverages, so they are subject to the mandate Governor Cuomo announced last week that bars, gyms and restaurants would be required to close at 10 p.m. nightly.
The Resort and Casino reopened in September after a nearly six-month shutdown that affected it’s nearly 1,100 employees.
Only about 225 of those employee’s returned to work when the casino reopened.
