RG&E and NYSEG crews have been busy since yesterday restoring power to thousands of homes and businesses.
The number still without power in the nine county Rochester region was down to around 1500 by 3 a.m.
Crews have been clearing downed wires and trees, replacing broken poles, and restoring power.
