Syracuse basketball coach Jim Boeheim is being sued for the crash nearly two years ago that killed a man on a Syracuse expressway.
As first reported by TMZ, the family of Jorge Jimenez claims Boeheim was negligent and reckless when he hit Jimenez on I-690.
Police determined Boeheim was driving 66 miles per hour in a 55 zone, but police concluded speed was not a factor in the death.
Jimenez was struck after he got out of his friend's disabled vehicle.
Boeheim and the university declined comment on the lawsuit.
