The City of Rochester has released the results of its Policing in Rochester survey...saying it shows strong support for using community groups and the Police Accountability Board to help reimagine policing in Rochester.
But the city also notes that not quite one percent of city residents responded to the survey, a total of about two-thousand people.
The survey was part of the city's effort to meet Governor Cuomo's order that each police jurisdiction across New York come up with a comprehensive police reorganization plan.
The deadline for the plan is April 1.
