The Monroe County Health Department is notifying people that an employee of Char Steak & Lounge on East Avenue in Rochester has tested positive for COVID-19.
Officials are urging anyone who was sitting or standing at the bar Thursday October 15th or Friday October 16th from 3p.m. to midnight, to immediately self-quarantine and get tested for COVID-19. The employee who tested positive was working at the bar area during those times.
Officials say patrons who remained seated at tables or open areas of the restaurant are not at risk of exposure.
