Webster Police say an alleged burglar is in the hospital in critical condition after being shot by a homeowner in Webster.
Police say the incident happened around 1:30 this morning at a home on Gravel Road near Klem Road.
The alleged burglar has been identified but their name is not being released at this time.
Police say every indication is that the male homeowner encountered the allegedly burglar and shot them.
However the investigation is still active and ongoing.
No charges have been filed at this time and police say there is no threat to the public.
