The Hyatt Regency Rochester downtown has shut down.
Hotel officials say the Hyatt will remain closed until February.
They blame restrictions on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the normal seasonal slowdown for the temporary closure.
The Hyatt will continue taking bookings for future events.
