The state Thruway Authority has scheduled virtual hearings this month on its plan to raise Thruway tolls by 30% for drivers who don't have E-ZPass.
The increase would take effect in the New Year, when toll collection becomes fully automated.
Drivers without E-ZPass will get a bill in the mail.
The proposal also includes a 50-cent toll increase for E-ZPass drivers who use the Hudson River bridge downstate.
The virtual hearings will be held October 13, 14 and 15.
