A big announcement from city hall this morning.
Mayor Lovely Warren names Cynthia Herriott-Sullivan interim Chief of the Rochester Police Department.
Herriott-Sullivan takes over on October 14th.
She is a former RPD Lieutenant and is currently interim Executive Director of the Rochester Housing Authority and Deputy Exec Director of Rise up Rochester.
Additionally, the Mayor taps Moses Robinson as a new member of the command team.
He will head up the community engagement department.
