New York Attorney General Letitia James was at Aenon Missionary Baptist Church in the city to address the Daniel Prude death investigation.
She says the city's claim they had to keep the bodycam footage under wraps due to AG office policy is unfounded.
James announced the AG's office would proactively release bodycam footage once it claims jurisdiction on a case.
James would not give an update on the grand jury proceedings, but says she will seek justice for the Prude family.
