Voters in the Henrietta Fire District have approved plans for a new fire station and upgraded training facility on Erie Station Road.
Ground is expected to be broken in the spring on the site of the existing Station 6.
The station will be staffed 24/7 and the fire department says it will improve response times in south and west Henrietta.
Typical households will pay an additional $25 a year to cover the cost
