Faculty and staff at all SUNY schools will be tested for the coronavirus.
A deal has been struck between SUNY and the unions to screen all union represented members who have to report to their respective campuses for work.
A testing program for students began last week, but in many cases university employees weren't included in that initiative.
The hope is the increased testing will prevent COVID-19 outbreaks, something several SUNY campuses have had to deal with since classes began.
