Three people are facing charges after authorities say they broke into a house in Pittsford this past weekend.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s office responded to a 911 call for a burglary in progress early Saturday morning.
The homeowner told deputies he woke up to the sound of breaking glass and saw a man in his home with a flashlight.
Paul Sylve and Patience Jones were still in the garage when authorities arrived and were taken into custody. The third suspect, Jalen Morris, was arrested after he jumped from an upstairs window.
All three were charged with burglary, criminal mischief and petit larceny. The Sheriff’s Office says they are looking for a fourth person.
This investigation is ongoing and a search warrant conducted on the suspects’ vehicle uncovered stolen property from other burglaries across our region.
