Rochester police say a city man was stabbed during a large gathering overnight on the city's north side.
It happened around 1:30 this morning on North Clinton Avenue, near Upper Falls Boulevard.
The 44-year-old man is being treated at the hospital for serious injuries.
Police say they needed what they call "a significant number" of officers to control the crowd.
