As expected, Hurricane Laura has caused local gas prices to tick up.
AAA reports the average price for a gallon of gas in Rochester is now $2.28, up 7 cents from last week.
It's not as bad in Batavia, with a 2-cent hike to $2.24.
The statewide average price sits at $2.29, up 4 cents from a week ago.
