Rochester City Councilmember Jackie Ortiz has been formally voted in as the Monroe County's new Democratic Party Elections Commissioner.
Nine of the 14 Democrats on the County Legislature have made the move official this morning.
The dispute between factions of the minority party stalled the appointment, and led to the replacement of Vince Felder as Minority Leader on Tuesday.
Felder has called today's vote invalid.
