A Rochester woman is recuperating after a Thursday afternoon shooting.
Police say a 45-year-old woman was shot once in the upper body just after 5 o'clock on Potomac Street, near Maple Street on the city's west side.
The victim was taken to Strong Hospital, but is expected to survive.
Police have made an arrest, but have not released the suspect's identity.
