Federal prosecutors say a 28-year-old Newark man has been charged with producing child porn, and with online enticement of a minor.
They say Matthew Holland was caught by investigators after police in Leesburg, Virginia found a Snapchat user engaging in sexually explicit conversations with a 14-year-old girl. That user was later identified as Holland. He threatened to publicize photos she'd sent him on the internet if she didn't send him more.
Holland was arrested by Virginia and Newark police in March. He's already been in court on those charges, and has now been brought into federal court.
