The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says a driver whose car brushed against a protester in Hilton yesterday was confused by all the people in the street. The protester was not injured.
Deputies say the demonstrators marched down West Avenue in Hilton to the corner of East and South Avenues, where they stood for a time in the street . At that time the driver came by and bumped into one of the demonstrators. Deputies say the incident was not intentional.
