Rochester police say it took about 30 minutes to clear a big fight yesterday evening on the pier at Ontario Beach Park.
As officers already patrolling the park responded to the fight on the pier, a number of fights started in the park.
Several other police agencies responded to assist and the area was cleared out by 8:30 pm.
News10NBC reports one person was injured and was sent to the hospital.
Fights at the park on Memorial Day have been a nearly annual occurrence.
The trouble last night was the last of several weekend brawls around the city.
