An East Bloomfield man is facing charges following an animal cruelty investigation.
The Ontario County Humane Society was notified by a local vet that a dog that had been brought in and was emaciated and in critical condition.
The owner of the one year old dachshund dog named Rex was identified as Jesse Bremer, and authorities say there was concern that other pets may be in danger at the Bremer's home.
Six dogs and several cats were found in the house, which investigators described as being in deplorable condition.
