The Rochester Board of Education has unanimously named Dr. Lesli Myers-Small as its new Superintendent.
Myers-Small is replacing Terry Dade, who resigned after just ten months on the job to take another job as head of the Cornwall Central School District.
Myers-Small is no stranger to Rochester. She completed both her undergraduate and her graduate work at local universities, and worked in the district from 1993 through 2002.
Myers-Small is the former Brockport School Superintendent and had been working for the State Education Department.
