Anti-smoking activists are celebrating the official end of the sale of flavored e-cigarettes in New York State.
The new law is taking effect today, along with a ban on the sale of all tobacco products at pharmacies.
Both measures were included in the new state budget.
New York is just the second state to end the sale of tobacco products in pharmacies. The Smoking & Health Action Coalition says selling tobacco alongside medicine sent a contradictory message to consumers.
