It is Day One of the gradual restart of commerce in the Rochester-Finger Lakes region.
Some nonessential businesses that have been closed since March have been given the green light from the governor to reopen.
Those include construction and manufacturing, agriculture and retail with curbside service.
Businesses must operate with social distancing policies to protect employees and customers.
Governor Cuomo announced earlier this week that the region has met all seven of the state's benchmarks to start reopening.
