A motorcycle rider is dead after fleeing from Rochester Police the wrong way on the Inner Loop.
Police say they were called about 4:20 in the morning to the 200 block of Parsells Avenue for a report of shots fired. A man fled on a motorcycle when officers arrived, drove onto the Inner Loop going west in the eastbound lanes, and hit a car near the Joseph Avenue exit. The motorcyclist was fatally injured and the driver of the car suffered minor injuries.
The entire incident remains under investigation.
