Governor Andrew Cuomo says the state is building an army of tracers in its battle against the coronavirus. He says State Department of Health employees will act as tracers in the effort, which is being led by former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg along with Johns Hopkins University.
Bloomberg said when social distancing is relaxed, contact tracing is the best effort in keeping the virus isolated. In the meantime, new hospitalizations and intubations are down in the state, while 306 people passed away yesterday from the virus.
