A family friend tells WHAM1180's Bob Lonsberry that former Assemblyman Joe Errigo has passed away.
Errigo had been dealing with long term health issues.
Errigo was arrested in October of 2018 and was accused of accepting a bribe to introduce legislation on behalf of a developer.
Last August, his attorney said Errigo had health issues and questioned whether he'd be fit to assist with his defense.
