The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Monroe County has climbed past 1000.
Nineteen new cases were confirmed yesterday.
Seventy-one people have died in the county since the outbreak began. Thirty patients are currently in intensive care.
Elsewhere in the Greater Rochester region, there have been roughly 600 confirmed cases and 41 people have died.
Twenty seven of those deaths involved cases in Steuben County.
