A team from UR Medicine is back in Rochester after spending time in New York City helping care for COVID-19 patients.
The 15 Emergency Medicine volunteers from Strong Hospital worked at Northwell Health in New York.
Jesse Shuff is a Physician’s Assistant in Emergency Medicine at Strong, he described the scene at Northwell Health.
The doctors say they were able to bring back experience and knowledge that can help Strong prepare as the local caseload increases.
