One more Monroe County resident has died of the coronavirus over the past 24 hours. Figures released by the Monroe County Health Department says there have been 49 new cases since Tuesday afternoon, for a total of 883 confirmed cases since the pandemic first reached Rochester.
Nearly 500 people remain in mandatory quarantine, but more than 500 have recovered from isolation. Nearly a hundred people remain hospitalized; 35 of them in intensive care. The graph tracking total infections day-by-day has leveled off the past two days.
