Xerox is one of the U.S. companies boosting the supply of ventilators.
According to NBC News, Xerox has a contract with a medical device manufacturer in California to ramp up production of inexpensive disposable ventilators.
While the devices aren't meant to replace higher-grade hospital ventilators, they could help ease the ventilator shortage.
As many as 200,000 could be produced by June, with up to a million later this year.
