The Rochester City School District is getting less state aid than hoped for the coming school year, and will reportedly have to cut another $20 million from the budget.
The D&C obtained a summary document with that dollar amount ahead of a presentation tonight to the school board.
The cuts will likely mean more reductions in staff and programs in the coming year.
State aid to the district was expected to increase in the coming year, but the state is facing falling revenues because of the coronavirus pandemic and the economic slowdown.
