Authorities say the woman who was rescued Sunday evening from Lake Ontario in Hamlin has died at the hospital.
The woman was reported in distress in the water at a private beach off Route 272.
Firefighters pulled her from the water. She was stabilized at Strong West, then sent to Strong hospital.
The woman was from Orleans County.
