Governor Cuomo says the trajectory of coronavirus cases in New York continues to climb, with more than 59-thousand cases statewide. At his Sunday briefing, he also addressed the "rolling apex" which means that the curve in cases will hit different locales at different times, both nationally and within New York State. Cuomo noted that New York City is facing the first impact of the curve, and he believes that given the rolling model of predictions either Westchester or Long Island will experience that impact curve next. He expects upstate New York to follow, saying that this may actually create a situation where regional healthcare can anticipate cases.
