Governor Cuomo is now making in mandatory that all businesses have no more than 50 percent of its workforce working outside the home.
This exempts essential services like food related stores and pharmacies. The announcement today by the governor is an effort to slow the spread of coronavirus.
The governor also says President Trump is sending a hospital ship called the US Comfort to dock in New York City Harbor.
It has one-thousand rooms and operating space.
Cuomo says Trump told him yesterday they are talking about the feds sending mobile hospitals that have a capacity of more than 200 people.
Testing has dramatically increased and so have the numbers. There are now more than 23-hundred coronavirus cases in New York State with 23 percent of them in the hospital.
