Shots fired at a party early Saturday morning narrowly missed Rochester police officers who were investigating the scene.
Police say officers were picking up shell casings they found outside 30 High Street when an additional shot was fired in their direction, causing them to take cover. No officers were hit. Two suspects who ran from High Street and North Goodman Street were taken into custody and a loaded gun was found near one of them. Rochester and Irondequoit police secured the scene.
Police have charged Joshua Massey with attempted assault, criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment.
