A Monroe County grand jury has indicted a suspected drug dealer who assaulted a Rochester police officer who tried to arrest him.
Police tried to arrest Chezere Campbell on November 2 but he fought with officers and ran off. One officer suffered a head injury.
He was arrested by deputy U.S. Marshals in Rochester un December.
He's charged in the indictment with assault, resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
