Rochester's Police Accountability Board meets tonight at 6:30 at City Hall.
The City Council approved the nine board members last week.
The board members will have to elect a chair and vice chair and hire an executive director.
The board will be investigating reports of police misconduct and could discipline officers.
The patrol officers' union is fighting the creation of the board in court -- arguing its authority violates the union contract.
