Ground is expected to be broken tomorrow on the new Irondequoit Community Center.
The proposed 42 thousand square foot facility will be located at the site of the former Medley Center Mall.
Voters authorized the $9.5 million project in a town-wide referendum last July.
The groundbreaking will represent one of the first major development projects at the new Skyview on the Ridge.
