A Batavia man is facing criminal charges for an alleged vehicle theft and a police pursuit that ended in Monroe County.
The Genesee County Sheriff's Office says George Ruckdeschel was spotted in Bergen yesterday driving a vehicle reported stolen in Orleans County.
He drove off from a traffic stop, and led deputies to Wheatland -- where he was caught in a foot chase.
The charges include possession of stolen property, driving without a license, driving an unregistered vehicle and other violations.
