The baseball world is mourning the loss of legendary pitcher Don Larsen. The only pitcher to ever throw a perfect game in the World Series passed away at the age of 90 on Wednesday.
According to the New York Daily News, Larsen died in hospice care as he battled esophageal cancer. Larsen's perfect game helped land him the World Series MVP with the New York Yankees in 1956. He played for eight different teams over the span of 17 seasons.
