The Monroe County Health Department is warning that the flu is currently circulating at a high level in Monroe County. There have been 420 lab-confirmed cases of influenza in Monroe County since December 21st...and the health department says the actual number of cases is probably much higher.
The department says people should be sure to wash their hands as often as they can, and stay home from work or school if they feel sick. And, of course, they say get a flu shot.
