Rochester police are investigating trouble at the People's Choice Kitchen restaurant on Rochester's southwest side.
It happened around 7:40 last night during an attempted robbery.
Police say there was a fight, and a man working there was cut. He is recovering.
It appears some shots were fired, but no one was hit by the gunfire.
A number of people involved ran off.
The People's Choice Kitchen made headlines recently, with a "pay what you can" promotion for customers short of cash.
