Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo is issuing a reminder to residents to properly recycle items during the busy holiday season.
Holiday packing materials like clean, white packing Styrofoam and plastic air pillows that protect the contents of packages can be recycled at the Monroe County Ecopark and should not be placed in curbside recycling bins. Used cooking oil is accepted at the Ecopark at no charge, along with holiday lights, wreaths and lawn decorations.
