Marketplace Mall developer Wilmorite has scheduled a news conference this morning for what it says is a major announcement at the Mall.
Wilmorite says a "a new transformative partner" will soon occupy a large space at the mall.
UR Medicine reportedly was interested last year in putting a new orthopedic center in the vacant Macy's location.
In order to make room for a new tenant there, Wilmorite asked this spring for the county's industrial development agency to use its eminent domain power to seize parking spaces belonging to other mall tenants.
