Some middle school students in Albion have been suspended from school while authorities investigate the messages they shared online.
School Superintendent Michael Bonnewell says inappropriate and threatening messages and images were shared in person, on the phone and via an online gaming app.
In a letter on the district's website, he tells parents that student safety is the district's "highest priority."
