The Red Cross is assisting the tenants displaced from their apartments when a compact SUV hit their building in Penfield.
Those displaced include the family of the man behind the wheel.
It happened around 5:30 yesterday afternoon when Eulojio Rivera was parking outside his apartment at 143 Wexford Place. Deputies say he hit the gas instead of the brake and drove into the living room.
His 25-year-old son, Joshua, has several outstanding warrants and drove off in the vehicle. It's a 2019 Black Nissan Rogue with front end damage.
