A Rochester man has been charged with Arson, Burglary and Criminal Mischief for starting a fire October 1st at 69 Marshall Street.
The Arson Task Force charged 64-year-old Samuel Lewis Kendrick with intentionally setting the blaze. Occupants of the two-and-a-half story house escaped the fire without injury, and the fire department was able to save the building.
Kendrick is currently in jail.
