The Honeoye Falls-Lima school district says a bomb threat was found this morning written on a restroom wall at the high school. The emergency measures taken after that discovery are now over....but the school was immediately put into lockdown at 9:43 this morning. Minutes later, the building response was switched to a hold-in-place so students could continue to work in their classroom, but no one was allowed in the hallways.
The sheriff's office says the building was searched with a trained dog. The alert was lifted when nothing was found and normal operations resumed.
The district is investigating the threat and is not releasing any specific details about it.
