Mayor Lovely Warren says the final piece of what used to be the Inner Loop will be home to a mixed use project that includes space dedicated to Rochester's Geva Theater.
Geva will use the new Education and Engagement Center as rehearsal and classroom space, according to director Mark Cuddy.
The $21 million project will have apartments above those theater spaces where actors and artists could live, and it will open in 2021.
PathStone Corporation will partner with Geva in building the 5,900 square foot space on Howell Street near the Strong Museum of Play. The space is currently known as Parcel Seven.
